
Starting with therapy
First contact

This can feel like a big step, initiating the conversation. Deciding who to start therapy with is about finding a therapist where you feel rapport, trust and connection. Before booking a session there is time for a discussion on what you are looking for from therapy. I don't charge for the first 30 minutes of the initial consultation, so you can decide if it's right for you before incurring any costs.

Initial consultation

This is a chance for us to explore for the first time what brings you to therapy and can lasts between 1 and 1.5 hours. If it is your first experience of therapy, it is a chance to see if what I offer meets your needs. We will explore some of presenting issues, what you have been doing to overcome them and what you hope to get from me and the sessions. Couples counselling is a little more structured and I email clients forms to complete so I have background information before we meet for the first time.

Beginning the work
​
Clients are often surprised by how good it is to talk, even when this is about issues that have been bottled down for years. If you decide to have sessions with me, we will meet at the same time each week, whether that is in person or skype, to move consistently towards whatever your goal for therapy is. Therapy is client-led and my role is to empower you and help you realise control over the issues you are facing.

Fees
​
I charge 75 Euros per hour or individual sessions and 95 Euros and upwards for couple's counselling.
Smoking cessation sessions are 2 hours long and cost 300 Euros.
For those on lower incomes, alternative fees can be accommodated.
